Hello everyone,
Star Citizen Alpha 3.5.1’s PU release is just around the corner! As always, thank you to everyone who has been helping test the patch on the PTU. We know many of you have lots of questions about the upcoming ship customization feature, so last week, we shared the answers to some of them in a special Q&A As this is our first foray into manufacturer-level ship personalization, we can’t wait to hear your feedback and are looking forward to the Origin Celebration event, and getting a look at your individual design choices.
John, Paul, Ben, and Jared – no this is not the reunion of some 1960s rock band, but the roster of the Star Citizen Live panel that went on air on our Twitch channel last Friday. Our very own fab four took us through the process of bringing the ships and vehicles of Star Citizen to life and answered questions sent in by the community. Re-watch the episode here and find out about the different phases of the ship pipeline from early design to flight prep, how gameplay features affect ship design, and improvements coming to the Freelancer – soon.
Now, let’s see what’s going on this week: Tuesday, the Lore Team will publish a Serialized Fiction story that was published originally in Jump Point 3.9: One Last Job Part 1.
Wednesday will bring us both the PU & SQ42 Monthly Reports!
Thursday welcomes a new episode of Inside Star Citizen, our weekly look behind the scenes of Star Citizen development.
Friday will see a Roadmap update and the RSI Newsletter delivered right to your inbox. We also welcome a new episode of Star Citizen Live, which broadcasts on our Star Citizen Channel at 8am Pacific. Our guest this week is VFX Director Mike Snodon who’ll take us on a tour of his team’s work and how the magic that brings visual life to the universe is done.
See you in the ‘verse!
