SUBSCRIBERS It’s December. We’ve made it through the hustle and bustle of CitizenCon and the Anniversary. It’s time to sit back, relax and take a look at some of the Subscriber Promotions coming this month, yes? 890 Reasons Why! This month, to close out the year we’re providing all Subscribers access to the massive, opulent 890 Jump from Origin Jumpworks through our Ship of the Month program. This is your chance to make massive, super-expensive cheesewheels in space. Or is it cheesecakes? How many food shapes can you make when the verse is flooded with 890 Jump anyway? We’re already finding out… Jump Point continues to be your guide the the deeper, behind-the-scenes aspects of Star Citizen’s continuing development and this month’s issue has two features on ships making their way through the pipeline, the upcoming straight-to-flyable Argo Mole and the known-only-to-dry-erase-boards… something something. Stay tuned to find out more. This month is also the last month the Character Team will be the sole provider of In-Game Rewards (Flair.) We love their work, and they’ll continue to be in the mix, but we think we can add more variety in flair to our Subscribers in 2020 by including things from other teams. You’ll start to see the beginnings of those next month. With that, let’s run down some of the specifics happening for December 2949 (ugh, next month I have to start writing 2950 on all my checks, don’t I?)
IN-GAME REWARDS (FLAIR)
The In-Game Rewards for December are two collections of casual clothing intended to reflect the same kinds of things we often find ourselves wearing in real life: branded shirts highlighting our favorite food and location vendors. Brands of the ‘Verse Pack #1 – Three shirts to wear showing your pride in where you shop or hang out. Are they the best places? Maybe? Either way, you can rep them with honor. Current Centurion Subscribers get the following three items in the Brands of the Verse Pack #1 above as part of their subscription.
Show your support for local and independently owned businesses with this Cubby Blast t-shirt. From its infectious holo-jingle promising “racks of rifles, stacks of shotguns, piles of pistols” to Clor Vee, the eccentric owner with a thick Cathcart accent, Cubby Blast remains one of Area18’s most unique shops, and a refreshing change of pace from the corporate-owned chain stores that dominant the Empire.
Be sure to keep this shirt off the scrap heap. Made from ring-spun cotton for an ultra-comfortable fit, this Dumper’s Depot shirt features an animated spinning gear in the logo that’s bound to get people’s attention.
Raise a glass to the expert drink-slingers at the G-Loc Bar with this t-shirt. Area18’s finest watering hole is known for their heavy pours on classic cocktails, like the Wingman’s Hangover and Nick’s Mistake. Snag this shirt to celebrate their generosity and help you remember where the night started.
Brands of the ‘Verse Pack #2 – Where do you want to eat? No, I picked last time. I always have to pick. You can’t just have a Pips for dinner, that’s not healthy. When was the last time you washed that shirt? Current Imperator Subscribers get all six items in both the Brand Packs #1 and #2 above as part of their subscription.
Show your affinity for the meal guaranteed to destroy your hunger. This ultra-soft natural fiber shirt features the Torpedo Burrito logo on the front and their very appropriate catch phrase “Unleash A Payload of Flavor” on the back.
Comfort meets refreshing style with this Pips graphic t-shirt, which features the popular energy drink’s logo on the front and “Power Up” on the back.
This Big Benny’s shirt embodies the joy of dining on their delicious kacho with an animated image that rotates between two versions of the brand’s iconic logo. Wearing it is bound to remind everyone to grab and eat this tasty treat. If you aren’t a subscriber but want to acquire these packs as part of a Subscription, you can still receive them if you SUBSCRIBE by December 16th. Additionally, you can purchase these and most of the previous flair going back to 2014 ANYTIME in the Subscriber Exclusive store. You can fill in any gaps as well as gift them to non-subscribers.
SHIP OF THE MONTH With an elegant, sleek exterior that belies its spacious interior, the 890 Jump is a true engineering marvel; crafted to impress from every angle by combining a unique, innovative design with the finest materials and the most advanced technology. The result is a vessel that is in a class all of its own, a masterpiece worthy of the name ORIGIN. The 890 Jump is already available to all Subscribers and will continue through January 2nd, 2020
