Hello everyone, xē'suelen nyahyan
Last weekend started with a bang as players rallied to combat a rising wave of violence across the system in Save Stanton.
Phase 1 kicked off with reports of pirate attacks on civilian and commercial vessels. Local security forces were overwhelmed and Stanton called upon willing Citizens to join the fight. Early missions had players investigating a wave of attacks and uncovering initial clues. Phase 2 brought the mystery into sharper focus as investigations revealed that a shadowy criminal outfit, The Slicers were behind the chaos. Players then faced off against the gang's forces in high-stakes planetary skirmishes and space battles.
The CDF called all hands to tackle Slicer strongholds and halt the escalating attacks. (Note: If you complete each mission before Alpha 4.0 launches you'll secure exclusive Pyro laser repeaters!) For more details, including mission info and a handy FAQ, check out our Save Stanton Spectrum Guide.
The latest Inside Star Citizen took us behind the scenes of Server Meshing development. The tech has been the subject of intense testing and fine-tuning, and the community has been instrumental in driving improvements to open the gate to Pyro. As always, thanks for all your support and participation on the Tech Preview Channel!
Last week's Star Citizen Live offered an additional dive into the tools and technology of Star Engine, covering the intricate processes of planet building, point-of-interest creation, and audio-visual effects alongside answering player questions about future planetary gameplay possibilities.
