Red Festival is a beloved celebration observed throughout the UEE and Banu Protectorate. To mark the beginning of a new lunisolar year, participants wear traditionally lucky colors, such as red and gold, share stories to honor friends and family, and eat long foods like dyed red noodles or calossk tentacles - an acquired taste!
Perhaps the most cherished activity involves hiding gilded red envelopes throughout the ‘verse for those fated to find them. It's also said that beginning a long journey on the last day of Red Festival will bring luck to the voyage and has become common practice amongst those hoping for prosperity and discovery.
