Happy Monday, everyone!
Ship Showdown is live, and the race to the Top 16 is officially on! From now through August 12, you can rally behind your favorite flyable or drivable in-game vehicle by creating original content, whether it's art, video, 3D models, or even showing it off in action. Submissions to the Community Hub or on X using #ShipShowdown will help push your pick into Phase 2, a head-to-head bracket tournament where the Elite Eight will be available in special Free Fly. The Final Four will receive exclusive manufacturer-themed in-game goodies, and the ultimate winner will also receive a special champion's prize. As an added bonus, ten standout submissions on the Community Hub and five on X will each take home a hot new ship—so don't miss your chance to create, share, and represent!
CitizenCon Direct 2955 is on the horizon, and preparations are well underway. If you haven't seen it yet, we're bringing back the opportunity for you to be part of the show with a video contest, similar to how we did during CitizenCon 2951—catch all the details here. We also know many of you are eager for more info on this year's big event and the CitizenCon Direct watch parties. Later this week, we'll be revealing the list of watch party locations we'll be crashing across the globe, so stay tuned to see if there's one near you!
Meanwhile, Alpha 4.2.1 continues to receive hotfixes and stability improvements, including multiple updates to address reported issues like freight elevator functionality. Work continues to improve the experience, and we're grateful for your feedback and patience as we smooth things out. We've also seen your requests to extend the Resource Drive event into Alpha 4.3.0—this is something we're actively testing/exploring now. Looking ahead, Alpha 4.3.0 is now open to all waves on the PTU. Jump in now to explore what's just around the corner, and help shape what's coming next.
Finally, sign-ups for Anzia Racing's Crux Cup Stellar Endurance Championships are now open, and you could earn your place among The Godly Fifteen. Or, enter your org into the Cargo Olympics for a shot at glory and prizes. Head to their website now to register and learn more.
