The Baker system is a planetary system in the United Empire of Earth (UEE). Discovered in SEY 2522, It consists of two K-type main sequence stars and four uninhabited worlds. The only major settlements in the system are Xenia, a Covalex shipping hub, and GIO, a Shubin Interstellar mining outpost. Cargo ships transporting goods between the Xi'an Empire (SaoXy'an) and the UEE often use Xenia as a pit stop.
On an irregular basis, Baker hosts an unofficial racing event known as the Able Baker Challenge.
