The R.il'a system is a planetary system in the Xi'an Empire (SaoXy'an) that consists of one protoplanet, one puffy planet, two terrestrial planets, one super-Earth, and one dwarf planet. First developed as a military training system by the Xi'an government, it has been transformed into a center of industry since the end of the Xi'an-Human Cold War in the interest of sustaining peace between the Xi'an Empire and the United Empire of Earth (UEE). It has become a center of trade between the two Empires thanks to its jump point to the UEE-controlled Horus system and financial incentives from the Xi'an government, who have relaxed restrictions on immigration.
