Tethyeng (Hyoton I) is the first planet from the sun of the Hyoton system, Xi'an Empire (SaoXy'an). Given the name "fire world" by ancient Xi'an astronomers, the soil on Tethyeng's surface is deep rust in color, making the planet appear to be a red star when observed from the surface of the Xi'an homeworld, RyiX'yan (Hyoton III). It is associated with joy and abundance in Xi'an myth, and was thought to aid in the quality of fermentation. Pictograms of Tethyeng, traditionally drawn as a nine-pointed star, are still used to decorate fermentation vessels.
